My name is Mel (Melanie) ... some of you might know me as Bellavista. I’m a third year English Literature and Language student ....finishing in May!
I have a very addictive and obsessive personality. My mummy and (most of) my friends think that is a bad thing. I disagree. I have a whole load of obsessions... and although there are some that constantly stay...

Robert Pattinson

Jackson Rathbone
Kristen Stewart (I'm a self-confessed Krisbian!)
Anything Twilight related
...there is always something new I’m addicted to as well. I’m gunna fill this blog with them...
I love writing! It kinda takes over the part of my life that my obsessions leave behind ... or fits in with it. I’m in the process of writing my own novels, I write stories for my friends ... twists on their favourite stories. And, of course, I love FANFICTION! I write it as well read it. I have loads of favourites, so be prepared to see loads of ranting and raving about what I’m reading.
I also love to read. I’ll pretty much read anything, but my favourite books are ones that let me get away from the Real World. I, obviously, love the Twilight books ... if you don’t you might as well go now. I think Rachel Vincent is amazing. The HON books rock my world. The Sookie Stakehouse books are kinda awesome ... but I'm also a huge fan of the classics: Pride and Prejudice, Little Women, Jane Eyre ....
Music is also a very important part of my life; I can’t go a day without listening to something. My taste in music is very eclectic; I’ll listen to anything. I try to go to as many gigs/ festivals as I can... they make me happy.
My home town is tiny – no Starbucks tiny! So I’m never really that thrilled to go home and leave the city. But I can deal. Mostly because of the gorgeous country side I am surrounded with; beaches, forests, moors ...

...and yes. I have searched every single inch of the forests looking for a clearing with a sexy ass sparkling vampire ... I’ll let you know WHEN I find him!

About five minutes from my house are the most perfect beaches in the UK. I try to spend as much time a possible on them throughout the year. I used to swim and surf as well ... until I ended up in the middle of a school of fish one summer, which in turn triggered a completely rational fear of anything and everything that lives in the sea ... :S And that is not my only fear ... but now is not the time to delve into my neurosis’ right now.
Right, so, there it is... some of the inner ramblings of my obsessed mind.
